Description: So many people have asked me the best practices for self tapes… Especially self tapes that have quick turnarounds, multiple scenes & long sides. I’m blessed to live with my reader (Kay Kay) and invested in having the equipment necessary to provide my management and team quality auditions from home. All the shows and films you’ve seen me recently have started with self tapes then followed by producer interviews via zoom and ultimately chemistry reads in-person. But these self tapes are paramount to getting in the door. Most importantly, I shut out the world for a few hours prior to every self tape. I make copious notes about the character and mentally create a place in my theatre that turns the sides into my reality.
