Description: How can the Night King and his army be defeated? Thats the question on everyones lips. You know what my answer is? He can be beaten pretty easily. No Bran Stark weirwood timetravelling needed. No Jon Snow/Targaryen prophecy about him turning in azor ahai with a magical flame sword called lightbringer needed. In fact none of thats needed. All Westeros needs is some good strategy and effective use of a shovel. By the way, the children of the forest are lame. Seriously is Bran went back in time to stop the night king from being created, the children would just turn someone else into the night king. And since they created the white walkers and the wights, to fight back against men, the ONLY way to prevent the night kings creation in the timeline would be to erase the children of the forest. Not just the ones who created the night king, but ALL OF THEM. The whole species. So unless Bran wants to wipe out all of them forever, changing the timeline seems a waste of time. I say forget about magic, prophecies and the old gods. Trust in steel and muscle! Thats what the world of man is all about!
