Description: This is a basic level of hair cutting on how to do long layers, in this video i'm only trimming Tiana's hair so that she can continue to let it grow. The trick is knowing how much to cut off in order to allow the hair to grow long. Depending on the health of the hair i usually cut off 1/2" inch to 1'inch when doing a trim. If your client wants to grow there hair long in order to make this happen you need to be very modest on how much you take off and I would recommend they come in for a trim every 2/3 months to maintain the health of the hair. This will encourage the hair to grow longer!! I'm sure you've heard the saying "you have the MAGIC HANDS" well coming from experience of my own hair, i have learned a lot about how to grow your hair long and healthy! and hair trimming is very essential.
