Description: Welcome back to another episode of Shoe Care Academy! With Valentine's Day right around the corner, Pretty Boy Rob turns on the charm and attempts to clean the Air Force 1 'Love Letter'. This shoe is made up of premium white leather and light pink suede, with heart-red Swooshes popping on the upper. Each tongue has hidden "love letters" reading "True Love Since '82", and "Air Force 1 Forever." If that wasn't enough to make you blush, the typical toe box perforations are replaced by miniature love hearts! Who needs a Valentine when you have shoes as lovely as this! Armed with a RESHOEVN8R Essential and Dry Suede Kit, Pretty Boy starts off the cleaning by removing the laces, placing them in the Drying Rack & Bowl Combo, and applying two loving squirts of solution into the water. Once the laces started their bubble bath, Rob inserted the adjustable shoe tree which will allow for added pressure when massaging the toe box. The uppers were the first to receive attention, getting a nice even gentle scrub with a soft bristle brush. Being the experienced gentleman he is, PBR reminds us that it's not a good idea to spot clean suede with water and solution - doing so will likely cause water spots or discoloration in that area. Saturating the suede evenly across the entire shoe will make sure the color remains consistent! The midsoles were getting a bit jealous from all the affection the uppers were getting, so Rob broke out medium bristle brush and got to work! Last but certainly not least, he used that stiff bristle brush to bring back that tulip pink pigment on the outsoles! After allowing the shoe to dry for 24 hours, the Nubuck eraser and the suede brush were used to reset the nap and buttery texture on the pink suede - just in time for V-Day!
