Description: Today was the day when I gave in to doubt, fear, and despair. In Apex Legends ranked, playing Wraith was the plan to make the most serious attempt at hitting diamond but it ended in misery. However, getting out of Platinum is still the goal, and high mobility characters is going to be one of my strategies for success; Wraith, Pathfinder and Valkyrie are now my top picks for Defiance, and I'm hoping to get to Diamond IV in the first split on Olympus. In today's adventure, I found out the hard way that those of us who are "good" but not great are unable to carry random teammates, so mistakes tend to feel magnified when caught out of position or choosing the wrong...ahem, direction, while driving a trident. However, holding out for a good game doesn't feel real good, so I'm hoping to come away from this week's gaming session with better patience and harsher decisions for when I see non committal teammates.
