Description: The Nintendo Direct E3 presentation has revealed that Kazuya of Tekken fame is joining Super Smash Bros Ultimate as the latest DLC character to be added to the Fighters Pass Vol 2. Kazuya is a fairly good fit for Smash, not least because he also comes from a fighting game. In truth, due to the close relationship between Masahiro Sakurai and Tekken developer Katsuhiro Harada, there's already a fair bit of Tekken in Smash, under the hood - this in addition to existing Tekken character Heihachi, who appears as a Mii Fighter costume. Harada has personally provided Sakurai with assistance in improving the online performance for Smash, making the game play a little better over the internet. What's more, Harada and Sakurai frequently chat online using Twitter, sharing jokes and teasing upcoming partnerships. Harada is fiercely protective of Sakurai, trying his best to stop Smash fans from harassing or otherwise bothering Sakurai with requests for new characters.
