Description: Do you need to change the helmet after an accident? Everybody will suggest doing it, right? I will agree with this, but in this video, I will do a number of tests to see if this rule is right. I will also compare the strength of a cheap model for 90 euros with an average price helmet 350 euros, who knows, the result might surprise even you! I am aware that a harder shell is not always a better shell and I never said the opposite in the video. I know that by cracking or moving in any direction, the shell absorbs the energy of the impact, but I also know that there is no way to predict where and what impact a possible accident will create. For example, in the case, you hit a sharp stone or metal part of a vehicle, a strong shell will be a way better option. By absorbing the energy and moving a centimeter or so, the direction of your head could be fatal. On the other hand, a too strong a helmet might create more harm to the neck and to the brain. I actually planned to say it in the video, but I forgot it. In my opinion, even if we make thousands of different tests, no one, I will repeat, NO ONE cannot predict or guarantee 100% safety.
