Chill for 15 mins then use an egg cookie cutter and cut out egg shape Chill for 15 mins – you can remix and press the excess together and use again Melt some chocolate then dip the egg shapes, and lay then down on parchment paper – let the chocolate set and enjoy! MARSHMALLOW EGGS 3 Tbsp unflavored gelatin powder 1/3 C cold water 3 C granulated sugar 1 1/2 C water 1 1/2 tsp vanilla 1/3 C cornstarch 1/3 C powdered sugar Soak the gelatin in the 1/3 of a cup of cold water in a small bowl and set aside to swell for 10 minutes. In a large saucepan dissolve the sugar in the 1 1/2 C of water over low heat, stirring constantly. Add the swollen gelatin and dissolve. Raise the temperature and bring to a boil – once it comes to a boil don't stir anymore.. Boil steadily, but not vigorously, until the mixture hits 230-234 (thread stage) – remember to adjust for your altitude. It should take 7-15 mins. Remove from the heat and pour into a bowl, or mixer and add the vanilla and beat the mixture until very thick and white. FOR EGGS Pour corn starch into a 9x13 pan and shake down so it settles. Take an egg and press into the corn starch to create the egg shape Pour the marshmallow into the molds and let set Pull out, shake off the corn starch and dip the marshmallows into melted chocolate FOR CUT OUTS Spray a 9×13 pan with bakers joy or line with parchment paper (Even when I line with parchment paper I tend to use non stick spray to help) and pour the mixture into the pan let set completely – about 2 hours and use a cookie cutter to cut out shape – add to a bag of colored sugar and shake MORE LIVE HOLIDAY VIDEOS Easter egg pinata cake youtu.be/tfS2JuAZcdQ Conversation heart pinata cake youtu.be/tRzytr0yOGo Homemade fortune cookies youtu.be/OHYCRBI77hg Thanksgiving cake pops youtu.be/nEjiN2xNUDo Graveyard faultine cake youtu.be/usp_UqL-Lj4 easy halloween treats youtu.be/Uet9yLPzxKs more halloween treats youtu.be/3semfJZJtw8 Mickey mouse jack o lantern cake youtu.be/d-I9Lfu_TGE pot of gold cake youtu.be/mEwTYlJ4bJI fireworks cupcake youtu.be/JRC5pFV5Rg4 MORE HOLIDAY RECIPE VIDEOS Carved Pumpkin Cake youtu.be/1iecEqr4bik Black Cat Cake youtu.be/YB1aScF4Mbk Eggnog youtu.be/LBAM9PR1DIQ Andes mints youtu.be/Jic2OgEjz0g Christmas cookies youtu.be/Cc6C6O9pMkY Christmas Jello youtu.be/MJhSSdY-a9A ASHLEE MARIE - I'm all about from scratch recipes, cake decorating tutorials and fun themed foods.
