Y'all are the bomb! ♡♡ Finally! Our (first!) little girl, baby #4, made her grand entrance into the world, at 1:19am on June 5th, 2020 after 41 weeks and 4 days in my belly! Lyla-Jade Sloan weighed 7lbs 2oz and was 19.5 inches long (though, at her doc. apt a few days later, she measured 20.5 inches lol). She was born peacefully at home, in the water, surrounded by love! We worried about birthing in our tiny, temporary rental home, but it actually turned out perfect. The small amount of space made it feel even more cozy and intimate. All three big brothers, Tripp (11), Declan (9) and Everett (7) were pumped for this day! They couldn't wait to be there, to welcome baby sister Lyla-Jade into the world. It was SO special to have them be a part of such an epic, beautiful and memorable day for our family. We are so in love with our newest little family member, who completes our family so perfectly, and we are having THE BEST time getting to know her. This was my 4th birth, but my second home birth. Home birth changed our life and I cannot recommend it enough, for pregnant people who are low risk. It is just so beautiful and cozy and wonderful!
