Description: Ultra-light, HIGH STRENGTH beads of any size are now possible to me when using Plastalina with Apoxie Sculpt together! These structures created in this video are perfect for polymer clay applications . My technique may seem unconventional at times but that may be because I figure things out as I go. This is just my approach to the hollow bead concept. Summery: Plastalina can be used as a temporary core for your beads, or any objects really, once formed I cover this with Apoxie Sculpt. Apoxie Sculpt cures on it's own without the need of an oven, but I do put it in the oven afterwords to melt the Plastalina out as it does NOT harden in the oven like Polymer Clay does! This allows the insides to melt out leaving a hardened "shell" behind! Warning: Apoxie Sculpt is a resin based clay and can damage your equipment. lubricate everything beforehand and wash everything with warm Dawn water thoroughly afterwords. If in doubt just use a glass jar instead of your pasta-machine! Also, this technique involves working with hot liquids that can burn you, responsible adults should be present just like when baking Polymer Clay.
