I mainly use them for USPSA and IPSC pistol shooting competitions and Dove Hunting. I've found these little gems at a price point anyone should be able to afford when you compare the cost of hearing loss. In the Texas heat where I reside, wearing ear muffs either passive or electronic are not an option for me due to the heat these muff conceal. This is where either straight up cheap foam ear plugs come into play or better yet, electronic noise cancelling earbuds such as these. You can spend anywhere from $100 to thousands of dollars on electronic ear protection. In the end I found these a nice price for the function.
