Notarile Gerald - Josh Rothman A WORD FROM CHRIS Much like her encounter with the demonic clown, Mimzy, I wanted Jane to have to face off against a supernatural creature. My take on the Boogeyman is a cross between that creepy ice cream man serial killer cliche, and Spawn's Violator. I just wanted this guy to wreak of red flags. Another thing I wanted to do with this story was to hint at a potential mistrust with Death. So far it has been pretty honest and straight forward with Jane, but as mentioned by Lucy, you can't be too careful. However, Lucy wasn't exactly on Death's good side, so, don't put too much stock into it just yet. Laura Van Yck continues to bring new depths to the character of Death and I seriously can't get enough of it. In fact, if when I meet my end, if Death doesn't look and sound like Laura, I'm going to be very upset.
