There was no gas and I had to do the most brazing intensive project of my life and there was no gas. I think if I was doing this again I'd use heavy wall (like 1/4" thick) square pipe for the block on top. I didn't do that originally cause I was worried about the round corners of such pipe. However, in retrospect I think it would have been much faster to fill those corners in with weld or something, cause heating that solid block was a nightmare.
