Here's how it works: We produce the beginning of a short film and post it to YouTube. Then, young people across the world compete with one another by creating and uploading videos that continue and finish the story. Participants are asked to make videos that reflect their vision of a better world, helping characters in the film to find positive solutions to the problems they face. Here is Violeta's presentation of her winning video entry: "After a long day of work and actors that canceled their participation, Ana Isabel Martins, the producer of the short film participant in the Global Dialogues challenge and Violeta Mora, the director, got together to film the material with the help of Margie Valle, Mario Gavarrete and Stephany Barahona, students in the university in which Ana teaches. It was a long night and the next day they all had to go back to work and edit the material in the night, but they finished just in time before the contest was closed. With the story, they wanted to reflect the consequences of unprotected sex and promote conscious and safe sex.
