Description: One of the winners of Global Dialogues' Sexual Harassment Video Challenge (Quarter 1 of 2015) is Denile Campbell of Jamaica. Bravo! To participate in the latest Video Challenge, please visit globaldialogues.org Production Cast and Crew, Jamaica Youth Theatre: Written and Directed by Denile Campbell Camera Technician- Akeem Mignott Role of Supervisor- Andrew Grant Role of Ms.Smith- Samantha-Rae McLean Role of Ms. Charles- Kellesia Ebanks Denile writes: "Too often people use their positions of power to objectify women who only seek to create a better life for themselves and their families. Sexual harassment is just the same as bullying, a terrible act that seeks to humiliate women in exchange for sexual favors. Victims often go unheard, feeling too ashamed or scared to tell anyone what they are going through, which often leads to serious psychological issues. A Woman of Merit (Part 2) is a short film to show women that they don’t have to be taken advantage of to advance in the business world. It shows that no matter what position you hold or title you carry, everyone is responsible for their actions". The Global Dialogues Video Challenges are an innovative, intercreative approach to making short YouTube films on global social issues. Here's how it works: We produce the beginning of a short film and post it to YouTube. Then, young people across the world compete with one another by creating and uploading videos that continue and finish the story. Participants are asked to make videos that reflect their vision of a better world, helping characters in the film to find positive solutions to the problems they face. Founded in 1997, Global Dialogues is a project of the Global Dialogues Trust (GDT, UK registered charity number 1071484). Representation, expansion and international coordination of Global Dialogues, as well as fundraising/resource mobilization for the project, are the exclusive prerogative of GDT.
