Description: Editing this video was a piece of cake compared to what I used to have to go through. I shot a video of another $1300 worth of upgrades to my production equipment. I posted a half-hour video of it on my Patreon page. Please go check it out. It's a little different than my normal fare, but it's still edited Jafro-style just the same. patreon.com/jafromobile In this episode, I make crucial improvements to a space I'm about to assemble an engine in, and it absolutely had to be done in order for me to move forward with it. The 50 year old wood garage door gets more credit than it deserves when you call it a door, so it had to go. Not only that, it's an eyesore. I went through painstaking efforts to insulate most of this garage so that I could keep it heated and cooled efficiently enough to produce videos in it comfortably. That door worked against all of that. I spent over a thousand bucks in materials in the previous videos to get my garage to that point... and those videos became very popular. In fact, Garage Modification 3 is one of my most popular videos today. It's also demonetized. Somehow, finishing your walls is not advertiser friendly? Let's see what Google thinks of someone installing a new garage door and opener? I already had the garage door opener. It was $380 and well-featured. The door I had just couldn't handle it and that's why I didn't install it. I shopped for garage doors online and found my door size cost over $900 everywhere because shipping was insane. But... Lowe's started carrying my door size last year and I have a truck. I bought an insulated door for $360. I bought a gallon of paint, electrical supplies, lumber, and door grease for $120. Add $40 for 10 gallons of Kerosene that kept me warm for most of 18 days and suddenly I did the whole job for less than I can buy a garage door online. Sometimes having a truck saves you a lot of money. Every household needs a truck–just like every garage needs a door that keeps the weather out. This was my first ever garage door install, and I've lived my entire life without me or anyone in my family having a garage door opener. Heck, we never had a garage when I was growing up, so... I'm extremely grateful to get my hands on such an amazing piece of technology. It's a new era in Jafro's garage.
