Two 3,5x7cm, two 3,3x7cm and two 3,3x3,3cm, Rod: 1x1 mm and 6x4mm Tube: 5 mm Ø diameter Black felt, enough to cover the inside Scissor Glue, Humbrol’s Precision Poly Cement Glue, UHU Contact/Universal glue Model Filler, Humbrol Base primer matt white, The Army Painter I used Humbrol paint, but I recommend Citadel or any other model paint instead ^^ Chose colors after preferens. Semi-Gloss Varnish Scalpel Ruler Iron ruler with angle bar, or something to make it easier to get a 90 degree angle Pencil Brushes Pliers, flat and round Files, flat Fine grit sandpaper Some sort of drill, I use a hand drill Dust mask *What is plasticard? Plasticard is a hard plastic, it's industrial name is High Impact Polystyrene Sheet . UK modellers know it as plasticard, in the US it is commonly referred to as styrene sheet, plastcard or plastic card. How do I cut plasticard? Scoring it with a sharp modelling knife or scalpel, then bend it along the score, it should break cleanly. What glues do I use? Polystyrene cement or any of the solvents or specialist glues that are used for the assembly of plastic kits. Don't forget to be in a well ventilated area, cause this make you dizzy otherwise.. 00:07 Draw and cut out two pieces 3,5x7cm, two 3,3x7cm and two 3,3x3,3cm 00:25 Glue the 3,3x7 piece on top of the edge of the piece 3,3x3,3 00:29 Glue in support with the 1x1mm rod 00:34 Glue together, 3,3x3,3 piece inside of the 3,3x7 00:40 Keep gluing in support and smooth out the surface 01:04 Glue the 3,5x7 piece on the top and the bottom 01:17 Cut out 1cm of a 6x4mm rod 01:27 Mark and cut the box open 1cm down from the top to make the lid 01:37 Glue in support 01:50 Smooth out the edges 01:52 Fill any holes whit model putty 01:55 When dry, Sand smooth 01:58 Mark1 cm in and 2 mm down (the hole should be 10x2 mm) 02:11 Drill and cut out for the hinges, then file 02:35 Mark and cut two 1 cm piece of 5 mm Ø tube 02:40 Make a incision to open it 02:43 Place in the holes, little tricky, but it will work, glue the seam together 03:02 Find the middle and glue on the lock 03:19 Prime the whole chest 03:26 Draw on all the pixles 03:37 Paint it all in different colors 04:43 I use paint thinner to thin down the paint to create the shadow, if you use something else, read on the package to know if it can be thinned down with maybe water 05:17 Cut out, fit and glue on black felt on the inside, Don’t Glue On The Hinges Though! 06:18 Finish of with Semi-Gloss Varnish 06:29 DONE! :D I will not sell any chest from Minecraft, sorry!
