Description: Having fun on my Cortex bass with some funky grooves & melodies with tapping, slides, heavy fingerstyle & lobster claw plucking. Trying to explore what sounds I can get from this punchy, resonant bass, roller coaster lab stuff :) This Cortex bass is made by renowned luthier Paul Lairat, plays like butter & fits any style, highly recommended. It's got Nordstrand Big Blades with a Glockenklang preamp, I used Ernie Ball super slinkys, Darkglass compression & gain, a Rodenberg 707b booster & recorded the signal with the DI out from an Eich T-1000 amp. I recorded the drums before the take with midi pads & Addictive Drums and mixed it in Cubase. Working on lots more :) Thanks for watching!
