In a recently published article by Kotaku, several (ex-) employees of Ubisoft have expressed their frustration over the development process of Skull and Bones. The game started out as a live service multiplayer expansion for Assassin's Creed IV, but was revealed as a standalone PvP ship battle game at E3 2017, with a subsequent gameplay demo at E3 2018. However, things have been completely quiet since. 4 Delays later, the game now has a release date set anywhere before March 2023. In this video I share my own thoughts on the matter.
