Description: In this episode I'm detecting an abandoned path first and move to a nicer looking place located next to it. The start was a little bit surprising as there were no signals at all (not even trash or iron). Once I moved away from the path, I went straight to my first promising signal, which turned out to be an awesome medieval buckle (1570-1700). The soil conditions were difficult. I had to re-adjust the ground balance of my detector a few times, as the soil changed basically every few meters. Soon other finds (in form of small buttons from 1700s) started to show up. The size (and amount, or partially lack) of finds indicated (to me) that this place has already been detected and I'm dealing with tiny, overlooked targets (probably due to tricky soil conditions). I also found what looks like a few Roman nails. In the end I couldn't complain about the outcome. It was a nice relic hunt in my opinion. I hope you enjoyed it.
