Description: Colombo, Sri Lanka ➖ Luke is back in Sri Lanka! This place is very memorable for me as this is where I first travelled solo all the way back in 2019. It's very nostalgic to be here again. But of course, when it comes to a Luke Damant video, plans never work out! The original hotel I've booked was empty, even after informing them that I would arrive around 2 or 3 am, there was no one at the reception. The Blue Elephant Tourist Hotel shouldn't be a 'tourist hotel' if they can't accept arriving guests 24/7 haha. So, I had no other choice than to go on a hotel hunt at 3am on the streets of Sri Lanka. Luckily, I met a kind man who gladly helped and took me to his brother's guesthouse. It was the first day and I can already feel the kindness of the locals around here.
