Description: Funky good times on my new fretless Cortex bass with some fun grooves & melodies :) This bass has an epoxied flamed maple fingerboard with chocolate maple neck, walnut body and spalted maple top, Nordstrand dual coil pickups & Glockenklang 2-band eq. It's strung up with Ernie Ball Super Slinkys, gauge 45-65-80-100. I used a Rodenberg 707b, Darkglass Alpha Omega & Hyper Luminal, a Crazy Tube Circuits Time Gold delay & an EBS DynaVerb. It's recorded with the DI from an Eich T-1000 amp into a Focusrite Saffire pro 24 audio interface. I recorded the drums with Korg drum pads & Addictive Drums and mixed it in Cubase. Still getting to know this bass so intonation's a bit lively, but I'm having fun expressing myself, that's the point!
