Description: Whenever we learn or “study” a language 📚 it’s often overly correct and has sometimes little to do with how people actually speak 🗣and communicate in it. Don’t forget to learn and absorb how native speakers actually use their language. That is also one of the reasons why there is such a huge discrepancy between what you learned in your French or language lessons and how native speakers interact. The French I learned in school had little to do with what I learned when moving to France 🇫🇷. People were using slangs and words that I had never heard of. Sometimes, more often than not, you got to lay the books aside and learn from real-life situations and conversations.
