This incident happened at 11.10 AM on 30.04.2022. The station is located about 30 km east of Etawah in Uttar Pradesh. The UP line going towards Delhi is obstructed while the DN line going towards Kanpur is clear. 15 wagons have derailed and concerned DFC officials have rushed to the site. Work for the restoration of the UP line has started. Accident relief trains from Kanpur and Agra are being pressed into service.
