Description: Hi everyone, In the second part of these forged Carbon Fiber adventures I go through the demoulding of the part we did in the last video. PART1: youtu.be/Vz51kPmAPeE At the end I go through the numbers and conclusions. I’ve also started a new test making a more complex part with resin infusion using epoxy resin this time on a more complex part to check out the finish on a 3D part. Going through the numbers of the test sample we made in the previous tutorial we can conclude we end up with a 3-1 Resin to Fiber ratio, which is A LOT of resin. Compared to a 1-1 ratio normally for regular fibers with resin using Resin infusion. Pretty happy with the look of the chopped carbon fiber from @Easy Composites Ltd and finish on the new part. Step by step we will be doing more testing to find out everything about forged carbon fiber. If you want to stay up to date with all following experiments make sure to subscribe and ask questions in the comments during the following videos. I’ll try to address all questions and answer all of them.
