Today we are going to FINALLY cover this big green hunk of man right here, the FOREST TITAN! Trust me.. You want to stay till the end I am about to drop some hot ass PvP tactics on you. Lets get right into everything you could possibly need to know about the Forest titan, lets start with taming! To begin with you have to find the cave, which is really not well hidden.. Big hole in the wall at 11.8 lat and 39.3 lon BUT HOW OH HOW WILL I PASS SUCH A DIFFICULT CAVE, same as was explained in the desert titan video, go check that out by the way, BUT USE YOUR FRICKIN VELONASAURS MAN CMON WE ALL KNOW THEY ARE OP AF BY NOW RIGHT? Now from our research and help from the community we’ve narrowed it down to 2 of the best ways to tame the big green beast.. Lets start with the easiest low level way of taming. Strip naked, take some beds and put them down, yep thats right, go in with nothing what so ever, we are going to death run this. So once you spawn in place down your pile of your beds and get ready to run. You will see smaller versions of wyverns flying around and landing, these are the forest wyverns and these are exactly what you will be using to tame the titan. Once they land you can run right up to them and press E to mount them, you can fly up using their fire breath to hit the corrupted nodes, starting on the shoulders and continuing to the chin. Dont be alarmed if an arm grows back! They do that.. These little buggers will dismount you after their fire breath is empty, you will see that bar above your hotbar, once empty it will dismount you, now it is possible you will die after being dismounted, or possibly even in the air, but thats okay! Just respawn at your bed and start up again! Now this is NOT a solo tame, even with 5 people this process will still take up to 45 minutes or longer. If the titan says its being drawn back to center the nodes will RESET reversing all of your progress. This method is effective being easy for lower levels and just requiring time and patience, the wyverns do such little damage on their fire attack it would be near impossible to lower it to a tier lower than alpha, unless you really suck at aiming or are somehow extremely unlucky. Now if you dont have a larger tribe or the patience, you can always try this next method! All it will take is 2 decent meks and a lot of element! Now all you will use is your meks pistol, I know others have said to use the cannon, but its aim is so wonky and slow its just not worth it. Between you and 2 tribe-mates, or more if you want it to go faster, keep pelting its nodes with your pistol. The average damage you do is so small it really wont affect the tame much at all! The only point where you have to be careful aim wise is when the last node on the chin appears, the titan takes maximum damage under his chin, so be very careful aim wise! Apart from that it is very hard to screw up. Now there is some risk to doing this, it will hurt you and it CAN throw you out of your mek and insta kill you, I suggest putting some beds down incase you get unlucky and get hurled out of it, but the attacks are slow and predictable, just blast away a little and you will dodge it, this tame may seem bloody scary but it honestly isnt too bad. Keep in mind you have to keep your titan within a certain area or else the nodes will respawn, if your titan is being too energetic when it throws down its little bombs that create trees that emit a toxic gas, just get it stuck in there, if you dont mind the gas damage (only 5 a second). If these trees are in your way have no fear, your mek can easily destroy them with its pistol. ---- So you now finally have this big grumpy old man, complete with his own self made saddle. Now what can this big boy do? He has a left click swipe and stomp, a right click grab and throw, a C root attack and space bar self guard Well the titan only has 2 real attacks! A big old stomparoo! Dealing a shocking 4,417 damage, great for any pests that get under your feet, this attack also deals a whopping 2,493 to metal structures! A huge swipe that has more of an aoe that deals 4,417 now both of these attacks are done by pressing left click! Just the stomp is more from looking down at your feet and a swipe from looking ahead of you. This swipe is extremely effective to destroy metal bases dealing 2,493 to multiple structures at once, dealing a larger range of damage.
