It’s hard to believe now that’s my story. While it’s the ending to a story about a father that didn’t want anything to do with his son anymore, this video is not for him or for his memory. Because I forgive him. This video is for a new story, a new beginning for me, for him. With this new beginning I see so much of myself in you, and it makes me wonder. Wonder what my life would have turned out like if I had a dad around. Now because of you, my son, I can get answers to all these questions. And give you everything I grew up without. This video was inspired by Peter McKinnon's video titled "For her." I didn't expect it to turn into what it has. In fact it wasn't even supposed to include my dad in the story. But when I dove into what I really wanted to express this is what came out of it. This is me and a little look into my thoughts. I hope you enjoyed it and got something out of it. I had the chance to work with some of my best buddies on this one. It was the collaboration that brought this story to life.
