Description: Trimming out the porches continues with unseasonably warm weather as we welcome the New Year. In this episode we install custom aluminum porch column wraps from AFCO Industries. AFCO is a 75 year old, 100% employee owned American manufacturer in Louisiana. They are the ONLY domestic column and railing manufacturer that extrudes their own aluminum products. Everything is finished with an AMAA 2604 powder-coat paint, offered in seven different finishes. Part of AFCO’s Traditions Series of Aluminum Columns, the Natchez is based on a traditional, site-built box column design with the cap and base aesthetics of a “one by” wrap capped with 163 Base Trim molding. These have the same matching powder-coat finish of the Aluminum AFCO-Rail products. This product can be used to wrap an existing post like in our project or as a stand-alone, structural post.
