Description: Today we are Exploring Camotes Islands, Philippines via Jeepney!! Our day trip is fun pack with lots of excitement and adventure! We begin the day with a beautiful sunrise and then quickly jump into our private Jeepney! Our first stop is at Bukilat Cave, in which we discover that during low tide there in not much water, but regardless, we enjoy exploring around this beautiful cave. There are lots of bats flying around inside of the cave. Our second stop is Busay Falls, which is a local swimming spot and is simply beautiful!! The kids, Aaron and Darin have a great time playing in the water! The hike back to the falls takes about 5 minutes but is worth the short trek! After Busay Falls, we move onto Buho Rock to check out the beautiful scenery. Buho Rock is a very popular recording spot for Filipino movies and TV shows! We have a great time exploring around the area as Aaron and Darin have fun swimming in the water and skipping stones! By this time we are all hungry, so we head down to the local market, where we are able to have some native Filipino lunch and explore around! After lunch, we head out to Timubo Cave! At the cave, we are able to swim in the cool underground water!! The water is crystal clear and you can see all the way to the bottom! This is a fun cave to explore around in and for just 40 cents, it is worth the price of admission. Our last stop is Lake Danao! This is a large lake inside of the island and we hire our own boat to take us on a tour. The kids name the boat the Windsplitter and we forge ahead towards crocodile island. We discover crocodile island in the middle of Lake Danao and hop of the Windsplitter to have some foot races and enjoy the beauty of our own private island!! We wrap up the day back at our resort. We all had a great time exploring around and would recommend this tour to anyone who is visiting the Philippines!
