I grew up with an #SNES, but I hadn't played this game until I was an adult, so it was interesting to see how many things it inspired in future Mario RPGs. It has great music, memorable gameplay that still holds up to this day, but oddly enough for a Squaresoft game, its story is pretty lacking, and a lot of strange character choices were made when it came to the antagonists.
