Being a mom has taught me so many important things and one of the biggest life lesson was learning how to embrace my body. It was such a pleasure to carry Grootie for 9 months and I knew that my body would changed significantly afterwards; but I didn't know how much it would affect my mind after having her. The first few months was a onslaught of lack of sleep, mommy blues, and getting use to this tiny human. Then you tack on your body image issues; and boy was it a ticking time bomb. Embracing myself and giving myself grace was something I learned a few months later; and now that I look back on some of my older videos--I just feel so silly about how I use to think I was "too chubby" in said video. I was totally fine! I was fine then, I was fine during pregnancy and I am 100% hella fine now!
