Description: It's been just over a week and I'm BACK with a brand new video! Welcome to part 7 of this Time-Lapse sculpting video series, where I'm making a little elephant from start to finish right before your eyes. In this video I shape the Trunk to this elephant and get it situated onto the armature, in what I think is the easiest and most time saving method. But as always, feel free to do things your own way for there are many ways to sculpting. It may not seem like I'm doing much in this video, but I'm breaking things up into segments that are both easy to understand AND follow... if I put too much into a video two things happen: Obviously it takes longer to make the video, but it will also play way too fast if I include too much footage. This video is playing at x4 speed by the way (I haven't figured out how to get it to go faster... yet) which brings me to my other topic, I got a NEW EDITING PROGRAM!!! I cannot begin to even TRY to explain the difference my YouTube editing world has changed since! I can edit 4k content, change the speed factor, as well as other attributes and STILL have SOLID playback, albeit super pixelated. SO what I'm saying is I can film a scene where I move a piece of clay a bit, move my hands out of the scene, then move the clay a bit more, repeat. I can then load that material cut out the stuff I don't want (my hands in scene) then put pieces of film back together and PLAY it! (I just explained how I did the DanceTime! animated scene, roughly) To sum things up, when it comes to wanting to try new ideas I come up with I'll have less limitations. New equipment I got, in total, all from last month (September): New computer: XPS 8900 (nearly doubled in performance than what I had) New SD card for my camera: My camera puts out up to 100K kbs, the card I had only wrote 60k kbs, the NEW card writes 90k kbs. That's nearly 50% more bit-rate! Last but definitely not least, a New editing Program: Movie Studio Platinum 13 (my old editing program was MAGIX Movie Edit MX 2011) which is not even compatible with 4k, I was manually entering numbers to get it to work... numbers to things I did not even know what they did LOL!! Oh the silly things I do .. and overlook.. I'm pretty excited about things, I'm sure you can feel it in the video.. these things will only help me make videos quicker yet without trying to pull my missing hair from my bald head :D thank you so much for your time, I hope you drop me a line I'd love it, like this video too? Share this happy little Trunk around! it's EASY to help Polymer Clay Artist!! See you sooner now! For part one: youtube.com/watch?v=ufFun1yWh1Q I'm on Facebook!: facebook.com/PolymerClaySculpting Polymer clay is a oven bakable clay that never dries out, it'll stay soft forever if cared for properly, then you can choose to bake it to make it permanently hard. It's what I do lol
