Description: I play Beethoven's Für Elise using a keyboard that controls two electric toothbrushes. This is the first time I play any of the devices in real-time. This is also the first time that I actually use MIDI. The reason why there's a computer on the table is that my keyboard doesn't have a MIDI output. The computer transfers the keyboard's MIDI signal to a USB audio interface that has this MIDI output. I use this socket to transfer the MIDI data to the microcontroller that then reads the MIDI data and decides how to control the electric toothbrushes to get the right notes. The whole system works better than I excepted with no perceivable delay. I even learned how to make the sustain pedal work. #Beethoven, #FürElise *** Share this video: youtu.be/CxvoetXVrEQ *** Subscribe: youtube.com/c/deviceorchestra?sub_confirmation=1 *** More on electric toothbrushes: Take On Me: youtu.be/NATZy-ZqD7A Darude - Sandstorm: youtu.be/cmO6QkJhuu4 Spice Girls - Wannabe: youtu.be/3PqAPXpvC-4 We Will Rock You: youtu.be/Hh9pm9yjmLs *** On credit card machines: US National Anthem: youtu.be/iXZGsqy-sRA Pharrell Williams - Happy: youtu.be/5Q1DBMmZF7Q Super Mario Bros.
