I had been eagerly awaiting both the film and Hans Zimmer's music since the first trailer came out. And again, I'm overwhelmed by the new sounds Hans Zimmer has created. However, after the first and second listen-through, I was convinced that the soundtrack is too atmospheric and too heavily sound-based to bring to the piano. Nevertheless, when many of you asked for Dune in the comment section of my last video, I gave it a third chance. And suddenly I found a way to arrange the Dune soundtrack for piano that I'm satisfied with. I'm happy with the result now and I hope you are too. My piano version is primarily based on the tracks "Ripples in the Sand", "Paul's Dream", "Leaving Caladan" and "Herald of the Change". The themes and chords contained in these tracks basically run throughout the entire soundtrack. This makes the soundtrack feel very consistent. By the way, do you recognize the ripples in the sand in the background? Any suggestions for future arrangements? Please leave them in the comments.
