Description: Tonight, we go on adventure through the mysterious forest of Shakespeare's A Midsummer Night's Dream, guided through the night by our trusty companion Puck. As storm clouds gather on the horizon, our tale takes us to the sprites Moth, Peaseblossom, Cobweb and Mustardseed – but will we make it out of the dark? Theatre, music and groundbreaking technology combine in an extraordinary exploration into the future of live performance. Whether you want to relive your experience of the interactive shows or are discovering Dream for the first time, the forest awaits. Dream was the culmination of a two-year research project led by the Royal Shakespeare Company with partners from the arts, tech and higher education, in which we experimented with new ways of changing live performance to reach new audiences. Over 12 live shows in March, 65,000 people watched the unique blend of live motion capture, digital landscapes and audience interaction, combined with a groundbreaking interactive score by us at the Philharmonia that responded live to actors' movements.
