In the film, Strange and his allies travel into the multiverse to face a mysterious new adversary. ______________ Most MCU fans expect a great number of surprise appearances and cameos from Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness, as the concept of the multiverse technically allows any Marvel character, whether dead, alive, or nonexistent within the MCU, to appear in the form of a variant. From Hayley Atwell's Captain Carter to Patrick Stewart's Professor X, there are some characters who are more likely to appear in Multiverse of Madness than others Patrick Stewart and Ryan Reynolds have both broken their silence and have responded to the rumors that they will be part of Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness as Professor X and Deadpool, respectively. Speaking to Comic Book, Stewart finally responded to the Super Bowl trailer for the Doctor Strange sequel that appeared to use his voice to tease the return of Professor X and the long-awaited arrival of the X-Men into the MCU. Reynolds also chimed in on the rumors, especially after many fans believe Deadpool appears in the Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness poster that was released alongside the Super Bowl trailer. Eagle-eyed fans claim that one of the shards of glass in the poster contains the faintest glimpse of Deadpool. While some fans seem to think that the flaming figure we briefly see blaze across the screen is the Human Torch, we’re pretty sure that isn’t the case, as the silhouette looks a little more like Captain Marvel when she’s all powered up. That being said, Reed Richards is an essential piece of the Illuminati, and it’s easy to imagine a new Reed being introduced. However, a new theory is popping up that involves the Marvel Cinematic Universe return of Iron Man. But instead of Robert Downey Jr., this Armored Avenger is believed to be played by Tom Cruise. The Iron Man fans think Tom Cruise is portraying would be the Superior Iron Man varient. If you check the lower right hand “shard” in that awesome poster, you’ll spot Peggy’s Captain Carter shield. The latest of Marvel’s Young Avengers to debut in the MCU, Miss America Chavez can be seen donning her frequently worn denim jacket with a star on the back.
