Description: Hi everyone, this is a question I get all the time from new riders, and even veteran riders who want to learn how to wheelie. I've learned over the years that most of the time people who don't like wheelies are also the same people who cannot do a proper wheelie. I've been doing wheelies for years on all of my bikes, some going well over 20-30k miles and never having an issue. Obviously there are certain bikes that you have to either modify the oil pickup such as the honda grom and the suzuki sv650 but for the most part, modern bikes will not starve for oil during a wheelie.
