Description: Today I'm making a DIY Aluminum Tailgate ladder for my truck. In the video I'll show how I cut the aluminum, welded it with a spool gun, created some custom brackets, and used some standard hardware to allow it to flip into the truck tailgate and lock in place. And I'm quite confident some of you might be wondering, is it even worth the effort over just buying one? Well, I will address both the economics of it as well as my thoughts on how just "saving money" isn't the only benefit of doing things yourself.
