Description: DIY Ventless Fireplace! Homemade bio-ethanol fireplace! (uses ventless fireplace fuel *ethanol fuel). works awesome! easy build! eco-friendly! produces a flame that looks and feels similar to a wood burning fireplace. using 4 separate burners is what gives the flames that uneven and random 'fireplace' flame. very relaxing and peaceful. all you need to make it is 10 bricks and 4 sauce cups. (10 flat 2"x4"x8" stone' bricks and four 2oz. stainless steel sauce cups *plus the fuel). only use ventless indoor fireplace fuel with this. it's an ethanol fuel so it burns very clean. no smoke or harmful fumes of any kind. the unit (as designed) burns for up to 40 minutes at a time. 1 oz. of fuel burns for about 20 minutes. use caution. never place this unit near anything flammable. never add fuel to hot or warm sauce cups. let them completely cool before adding more fuel. the unit as shown weighs about 52 to 55 lbs. (the metal 'working platform' that i put it on holds 325 lbs.). don't try to put the flame out by blowing on it. if you want to put out the flame cover it with something (like a metal spatula). a bonus with this unit is that it produces a lot of heat too (about 400w per 'sauce cup' so about 1600w total). ventless bio-ethanol fireplaces are sold for anywhere from 100 to 2000 dollars (and more). i wanted to make one that didn't cost so much. this one cost around $10.00 to make. tip: for a more permanent unit, consider attaching the 4 bricks (the ones that are standing on their long edge) to the brick base that they are standing on. if you like the video please rate comment sub and share 🙂
