I obviously decided to stay away from real pods and instead tried to replicate it using different types of slimes. The base pod was a very thick butter slime that basically has a clay-like consistency so it can hold the clear slime in place. I decided against using pure Daiso clay for the base since that dries fairly quickly and the slime won't be "squishable" at all. Contrary to many news reports, NO-ONE has died as a result of the Tide Pod Challenge. The number of deaths reported by the media are dated back to 2012 over a span of 6 years, and none were related to the meme that started in 2018. However NEEDLESS TO SAY, it's an extremely bad idea to eat detergent pods so don't do it guys.
