I've been meaning to put this up last week, but boy does my week just fly by for me. You know how little Grootie is so darn distracting. It's hard to edit a video in one sitting because she's always doing something so darn cute, and in truth--I do take out too much time to play with her. Hey! I shall pull the mommy card--she needs me hehehe. Anyways, she's been trying to roll and kick all over the place! I really want to have a safe barrier that keeps her around from the edges of the crib. I found these braided bumpers on instagram and gasp* they were so expensive! I figured I would just make one for her. I love the grey neutral color because it made everything else in her crib pop! Also, the quilt was made by a good friend WhitneySews here on YT. Whitney's Quilt For Grootie: youtube.com/watch?v=sV11eodG6J4 Disclaimer: I do not leave the stuff animals in her crib when she sleeps. Some would say that bumpers are dangerous as well. You are the parent, you make the call. I feel that Grootie needed the bumper as her kicks are very hard and she's just all over the place when she sleeps. Again, you are the parent--make the best choice for your babies and don't blindly do what I do! LOL I don't know what I'm doing like 97% of the time! #ParentHood am I right? Materials: 255" Grey Flannel: You can buy it much shorter and sew them together to get the length you like. Filing-Use a cheap pillow!!! The ones I bought were from Wal-Mart the cheap Mainstay ones. It's weird how I bought 3 pillows and each pillow stuffed one strand perfectly!
