I'd like to make a disclaimer, I'm not a professional. I don't really give myself the authority of someone who has been in the industry or even university. I still have a long way to go myself. My goal for this video was to share with you all the methods I'm experimenting and things I've learned from other artists currently as I'm improving my art. 80% of this video is me saying things I constantly need to tell myself too. It's funny how much knowledge I have to share when I still need to put it into practice myself. I think I could spend more time drawing everyday and more time studying from life and better artists. My intention is to inspire others and encourage people that we are all in this boat together. 2020 was a hard time on many artists mental health too, including mine. But I'm choosing to move forwards still even if it's hard. I think everyone's art journey looks different and it's okay to struggle. I'm struggling constantly with feeling like a bad artist, but the point is to keep going even if I don't feel like I'm improving. One step is more than staying where you are forever!
