In this lesson, we look at the core note values used in music, from whole notes to sixteenth notes, and how they are positioned along the musical timeline. By understanding note values, and how to time them to a simple beat pattern (or metronome), you'll already be well on your way to creating articulate solos and riffs that command the listener's (and other musicians') attention.
