Well most recent in the Jailer defeat cinematic he played a very small but in my opinion a very important role. He said 1 sentence but I believe that this was a subtle but strong hint for what is to come. As a part of this Zovaal's flashback, he might have revealed who was the actual bad guy and who has actually been behind this entire ordeal that has been going on in the Shadowlands.
