Description: My name is Joshua Storm Burt. I've been an avid lover of the night sky since my mom jolted me awake for my first ever meteor shower in 1998. It was the Leonid shower. It wasn't a shower though. It was a huge meteor storm! Even witnessed my one and only bolide. This video is an application for my hope to be a part of the DearMoon Project. Hope is powerful and can make great men do even greater. I appreciate the motivation given. In 2023 Space X will launch Starship and on it will be 8 people willing to pursue a journey very few have...A week in space! Not to mention seeing the far side of the Moon! This won't be some vacation for those aboard. We will work together as creatives; hopefully learning a few things from each other along the way...While learning what gazing upon the night sky with your own eyes will do to somebody's heart and mind. As a kid from rural Alabama, it is an honor just to be able to apply for such a thing! I feel like Fred Randall in Rocketman honestly lol!
