Curbless, zero entry or Barrier free shower, in this video I detail the steps needed to build a barrier free shower, which are becoming more and more popular. I explain what is needed to recess the subfloor of the shower base to accommodate the thickness of a mud shower pan for a point drain. I explain in detail what needs to be done and how to do it. Then I go through the steps involved in figuring out how to install the bonding flange drain and how to set the depth and what the pitch should be. Curbless shower install Barrier free. Making it waterproof, I explain what steps are needed to waterproof the entire shower and onto the main floor. Since there is no curb, water will find its way onto the main bathroom floor, so steps need to be taken to ensure that the water does not get into the structure of the floor or anywhere it is not supposed to be.
