Description: Thanks for watching! In this video, I share my shock and horror upon discovering that Crayola Crayons are made of cow fat. As a vegan, I just couldn't keep this shocking information to myself. Luckily, Faber-Castell is cruelty free, with a company policy against animal testing, and has confirmed that their entire product line is free from animal byproducts, with the exception of their wax crayons that contain beeswax. The watercolour paint I demonstrate at the end of the video is Pentel brand, confirmed vegan, and the black ink drawing is Uni-Ball Vision Fine black ink, also (phew!) vegan. Fellow animal rights activist artists, watch out for the sneaky animal ingredients hidden in Prismacolor pencil crayons, (insert sad face here,) Sharpie markers, and almost all paints. The list is too long to post, so here is a website that does the work for us: doublecheckvegan.com/vegan-art-supplies/#veganoilpastels My make-up in this video is NYX. The eyeshadow is used wet, and glopped on thick. (No tutorial, it's very badly blended and I'm not a beauty expert, lol.) If you like my handmade jewelry, check out my Etsy shop: etsy.com/shop/TheArtofGems And if you're interested in my colouring book, buyer beware, the lines are blurry and the quality is only okay... but if you still want one, here it is: amazon.com/Colour-Your-Way-Creative-Consciousness/dp/1484107500/ref=sr_1_1?dchild=1&keywords=colour+your+way+to+creative+consciousness&qid=1587506772&sr=8-1 And, this video was made possible by my patrons on Patreon. If you'd like to join the fun, we have a monthly "party" on Zoom, and I share private videos with them, as well as free printable downloads of my art. Get in on it here: patreon.com/SarahStephanieLandry *When I said that most of us think of Crayola Crayons as "innoculous" I meant, of course, "innocuous," but by the time I realized my silly verbal slip, it was too late, so I just kept on talking.
