Description: Why Crate train #2 There is no better feeling than knowing your dog is safe and calm in it’s crate while you are out of the house. We have heard some horrific stories about dogs who ingest toxic things while left unattended, and it ultimately leads to the death of the dog. We believe in crate training for many reasons, and the #1 being safety of the dog. The crate is a secure, relaxing place for your dog to go where you know it can’t get into anything it shouldn’t. It gives you and your dog peace of mind and security. Even with a dog that “doesn’t get into anything when left alone” there is still always the chance. We prefer not to take that chance and to keep a schedule, routine and structure with our dogs by utilizing their kennels. The crate is never used for punishment, it’s simply just a safe place for your dog to go when you can’t have your eyes on it.
