Also, kinda major minor thing, without Wybie, things would have worked out entirely differently for Coraline in the Other World, if she even went there at all! (Yeah!) Yet, he does NOT appear in the original book! So… why Wybie? This is how Coraline would have been completely different without Wybie! Imagine the Laika's animated movie "Coraline" without Wybie… so sad! but, um, we… actually don’t have much to imagine here, as Wybie is NOT in the original Neil Gaiman book! Now, this is KIND OF a book vs. movie, but only focusing on Wybie. Without Wybie, everything changes. He not only moves things along, but Other Wybie acts as a relcutant helper to the Other Mother, helping along her evil plan to ensnare Coraline. Both real Wybie and Other Wybie save the day throughout the movie, AND give Coraline hints to her very real peril.
