Description: Confirm is a smart manufacturing research Centre, based at Limerick University, that utilizes KUKA industrial robots to assist in areas of research, such as advanced robotics, simulations and modelling. The advanced robotic joining suite is one of several projects, through which Confirm explores composite joining capabilities, within an automated application at the edge of the digital transformation. R&D projects such as these, are underpinning the evolution of the Irish manufacturing sector, as KUKA Ireland joins forces with research facilities, applying learnings across multiple manufacturing disciplines.
